Today I want to talk to you about a recent addiction of mine. It’s called Zazzle.
Basically, Zazzle is a print-on-demand site, where you can design your own t-shirts, phone cases, pillows, birthday cards, and pretty much anything else you can think of. My mom first got me interested in Zazzle as a way to make some extra money, and while I haven’t made much yet, the potential is there. Being on disability really limits my ability to earn any real money, so Zazzle is one of the ways I’m hoping to supplement that income. So far I haven’t made a lot, and what I have made were mostly from my own purchases. But I’m hoping that will change as I become better at designing, and better with Photoshop. Here’s one of my t-shirts that is perfect for anyone with a brain injury:
Does a friend have a birthday coming up? You can design them their very own card on Zazzle! Or are you planning a baby shower? Make invitations right on Zazzle. The beauty of it is that while you can make things for your own purposes, other people can then buy them. You get a royalty on every product you sell. And, you can set what percent of royalty you want. Don’t make it too high though, as more expensive items are less likely to sell. My mom recently took Elke Clarke’s Zazzle course, and boy did she learn a lot! (Elke is a Zazzle Diamond Pro designer – that means she’s earned at least $500,000 on Zazzle). Holy wow. That’s a lot of cheddar! I hope to be able to join her someday!
